Thanks to Boveda's revolutionary technology, the relative humidity always remains at a maximum of 62%.
The relative humidity is between 58%-62%.
Due to its gel-like consistency, Boveda dries out very slowly. When Boveda is no longer gel-like but becomes hard, it is used up and must be renewed.
The shelf life is strongly influenced by the size of the storage box / humidor, the amount of tobacco to be freshly aged and the ambient humidity and temperature. So the shelf life is depending on the place from a few weeks to almost a year.
The 4g Boveda is for about 14g of plant material.
